Two-component product for cleaning piston rings, the combustion chamber, EGR, intake ports, the turbocharger and other parts of petrol and diesel engines. K1 cleaning foam dissolves carbon, oil and other deposits in the combustion chamber, on top of the piston and in the area around the first piston ring. K2 neutralises the K1 foam and allows the dissolved deposits to be safely extracted from the cylinder. For professional use when deep decarbonisation is required without fully disassembling the engine. After the procedure, it is recommended to flush the engine oil system with Engine Flush P1001.

2-component product for cleaning piston rings, combustion chambers, EGR systems, intake ports, turbochargers and other parts in petrol and diesel engines.

K1 component

The cleaning foam is a specially formulated, high-performance solution that dissolves and removes burnt-on oil, carbon and other deposits from the combustion chamber.

The product dissolves carbon deposits in the cylinder head area, particularly on the valves, piston crown, upper piston area and around the first piston ring.

It also cleans the intake and exhaust valve seats when they are open.

Soot deposits on the EGR valve, turbocharger and air intake system are effectively removed. The intake manifold, intake valves and ports can also be cleaned.

Carbon X is compatible with all materials found in the engine and does not damage seals.

K2 component

The neutralizer triggers a chemical reaction that dissolves the previously applied K1 cleaning foam and binds the dissolved deposits.

Using the Carbon X extractor or another tool capable of suctioning liquid from the cylinder, the resulting emulsion and dissolved deposits can be safely extracted from the combustion chamber.

K2 contains highly effective lubricating additives with exceptionally strong adhesion, which help protect the engine from excessive friction during start-up and reduce increased wear on moving parts.

Directions for use

For the combustion chamber

Remove the spark plug, glow plug or injector and insert the probe into the combustion chamber through the opening.

Spray the K1 component. The product expands like assembly foam and spreads into the intake and exhaust ports if they are open.

As soon as foam starts to emerge from the opening, stop spraying and leave it to work for 15 to 20 minutes. To avoid overdosing, we recommend spraying for no more than about 5 seconds per combustion chamber.

After spraying K1, insert the K2 probe and spray a generous amount of the K2 component through the same opening. Allow it to react with the K1 foam until it dissolves, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Repeat the spraying if necessary.

Extract the resulting emulsion using the Carbon X extractor or another tool capable of suctioning liquid from the cylinder. Repeat the procedure if there is heavy contamination.

After cleaning is complete and before reinstalling the removed components, crank the engine without starting it 2 to 3 times for approximately 10 seconds each using the starter to expel all residue.

For the EGR system, turbocharger and intake system

The product can be applied with the parts installed or removed, depending on access.

Disconnect the intake and exhaust lines from the EGR valve or turbocharger, or open the intake system between the air filter housing and throttle valve.

Spray the K1 component into all areas. As soon as foam starts to emerge from all access points, stop spraying and leave it to work for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Then dissolve the K1 foam with the K2 component, flushing the EGR valve, turbocharger or intake line several times.

After reassembling the parts, run the engine for at least 20 minutes as a test.

Information

Suitable for petrol and diesel engines.

Consumption: 500 ml for 4 to 8 cylinders, depending on cylinder capacity, or for 2 to 4 EGR valves, turbochargers or intake systems.

Application time: 15 to 20 minutes.

This is a professional application requiring advanced technical knowledge.

When using CARBON X to decarbonize piston rings, the engine oil system must be flushed after the procedure using Engine Flush P1001. This helps dissolve residual carbon and other contaminants in the piston ring area by acting from underneath the piston.

After the Engine Flush procedure, using Oil Booster P1301 is also recommended.
